Eligibility

All commuter students are eligible to purchase a parking permit.  Students living on campus (resident students) must have 54 credits or more to be eligible for parking.  Resident students with fewer than 54 credits may purchase a remote parking permit, if space allows. Commuter students can legally park in any commuter or paid permit area but are not guaranteed a space in any particular lot.  Resident students can legally park in any resident or paid permit area but are not guaranteed a space in the lot closest to their residence hall or apartment.

Active students are not eligible for any type of employee parking permit, even if they are working as a special payroll employee. Their student status overrides their employee status.
